How much does local SEO cost in Canada?

There is no responsible single price for every local SEO campaign. Cost changes with the number of locations, competition, site condition, profile health, content requirements, implementation ownership and the amount of ongoing work required.

What changes the quote?

The number of markets is only one factor. The condition of the website, ownership of the Business Profile, content requirements, competitive environment and who implements the work can change the effort substantially.

  • Number of genuine operating locations and priority services
  • Website platform, technical blockers and development requirements
  • Existing content, approved photos and usable customer evidence
  • Profile, listing and duplicate-data cleanup
  • Reporting needs and the availability of conversion data

What a written proposal should specify

Compare proposals by outputs and responsibilities as well as price. Ask for the implementation scope, reporting cadence, approval process and commercial terms in writing.

  • Fee, billing currency, applicable taxes and payment schedule
  • One-time setup and recurring work shown separately
  • Included pages, locations and implementation responsibilities
  • Advertising spend, third-party tools and production costs identified separately
  • Contract length, cancellation terms and account ownership
  • How changes outside the agreed scope are priced
